Three new documentaries by Brandy Yanchyk to air on PBS in February 2017

Three documentaries by Brandy Yanchyk will start airing across the United States on PBS in February 2017. These include Employment Matters, Employment Matters Too and Becoming Alberta.

Brandy Yanchyk will be at the 2016 World Congress of Science and Factual Producers in Stockholm, Sweden

Documentary Filmmaker Brandy Yanchyk will be in Stockholm, Sweden at the 2016 World Congress of Science and Factual Producer’s conference in early December. Brandy has four new documentaries she would like to speak to broadcasters and distributors about; Dino Trails — a new documentary about dinosaurs, Ambassadors of the Sky — a documentary about the fight against light pollution, The Price of the Prize — a documentary about the fight to end grizzly bear trophy hunting in the Great Bear Rainforest and Finding Edge Road — a documentary about asylum seekers from Somalia and Iraq moving to Finland.

Brandy Yanchyk’s documentary “The Price of the Prize” about the fight to end grizzly bear trophy hunting in BC’s Great Bear Rainforest will air across Canada on CBC on Saturday March 11th on Absolutely Canadian.

Brandy Yanchyk’s documentaries on inclusive hiring will air on AMItv in 2017

Brandy Yanchyk’s documentaries on inclusive hiring for people with intellectual disabilities Employment Matters and Employment Matters Too will air on AMItv in 2017.

Employment Matters will air on AMItv on Friday, December 30th at 9pm Est and at 12pm and 6pm EST on Saturday, December 31st.

Employment Matters Too will air on AMItv on Friday, January 6th at 9pm Est and at 12pm and 6pm EST on Saturday, January 7th.

Both documentaries will also air again on AMItv in March.

Both of these five part series will air on Air Canada’s In Flight Entertainment System on ALL Domestic and International routes.
It’s part of TELUS Optik Local’s “Best Of”!
Star Trails will air from January 1st – February 28th, 2017. 
Coastal Revival will run from April 1st – May 31st.

Yanchyk’s “Grey Ambition” and “Employment Matters” to screen at Toronto’s 2016 Commffest Global Community Film Festival in Toronto

Brandy Yanchyk’s documentaries “Grey Ambition” and “Employment Matters” to screen at 2016 Commffest Global Community Film Festival in Toronto.

Grey Ambition” will screen at 10am on Wednesday, October 12th and “Employment Matters” will air at 10am on Friday, October 14th.

Following both films will be a Q&A with the filmmaker, Brandy Yanchyk, and a discussion moderated by broadcaster Dini Petty.
